How should the Catholic Church deal with the sex abuse scandals which have come to light in Germany and Ireland?
It’s a matter for the police now, so the church should just leave in the hands of the authorities and get on with its day-to-day duties.
· The Church should launch independent investigations and release comprehensive reports on the incidents. It’s the only way to show the public they take the allegations seriously.
