EP asked the Commission to take steps to prevent match-fixing in the major European leagues, a business worth billions of euro each year.
The aim is to combat organized crime related to sports betting and match-fixing. The European Parliament also wants the commitment of member states to introduce penalties as against crimes. MEPs propose codes of conduct for players, officials and technical staff, and suggests to develop education programs nationwide to deal with this problem.

Actuellement, 25 millions d'Européens vivent dans des logements sociaux. Cependant, beaucoup d'autres sont incapables de supporter les frais d'un logement décent et le nombre d'expulsion a augmenté ces dernières années. Une résolution pour un nouveau cadre de travail sur le logement social sera voté au Parlement européen en juin. Cette résolution affirme que le budget de l'UE devrait soutenir le logement social comme un investissement pour combattre la pauvreté.
